Type tests:a series of limit tests on product performance, including power frequency withstand voltage, lightning impulse voltage, partial discharge, thermal cycling, mechanical strength, and water immersion tests, as well as other dozens of rigorous tests. These cable accessories have shown excellent insulation, water-tightness and mechanical stability which even surpass the design requirements under over-rated voltage (e.g. 1.7 times of U0) and extreme operating conditions.

      Pre-qualification test： an accelerated aging test on cables system simulating over 30 years of operation, and  high-intensity test with consecutive thermal cycling and short-circuit current surge for more than one year, as well as tests simulating extreme special conditions where cable accessories are installed, such as, direct burial, exposure to air and sunlight, vertical serpentine laying in tunnels, so as to validate products' capability of operating in complicated environment for long period without fault, and to provide a lifetime guarantee to power grid safety.
